Liv Loupe is a theatre practicioner and teacher with a background in classical dance and musical theatre. While studying at California State University, Chico, she discovered her passion for directing, writing, and contemporary drama. Due to her love of expermimenting with newly discovered techniques and approaches, her practice is constantly evolving. The best way to describe her work is both trying implement fire-prevention measures as well as striving to put out the fires currently raging in communities. In her activist pieces, she holds a mirror up to her audience so that they must face the issues plagueing those around them, but then are asks, "How can we start to fix this?" In her child-focused projects, she aims to foster kids' (and adults') senses of empathy and concern for their fellow folk.
Currently, Liv is finishing the Master's program at Manchester School of Theatre and hopes to premiere her newest work, "Coulda Shoulda Woulda" in late September (2026) for their annual Liminal Showcase.
